Set Piece' showed he was 'All Heart' by winning The 2016 Valentine's Day Edition of 'The Bathurst Cup'.  Crossing the line in dominant fashion, the Reset gelding treated 'the more fancied contenders' with contempt.

Destroying the competition  by five lengths, the  grey half brother to 2011 Bathurst Cup winner Spence quickened the pace whilst still over 800 metres from home and continued to extend his margin right to the finish.

Turning the race into a true staying contest, Jockey Blaike McDougall showed experience beyond his years manipulating the pace to his advantage. Four hundred metres from the finish, 'Set Piece' pulled away from the field, winning in 'a hand canter' five lengths ahead of his nearest rival.

"He could have won by any amount"exclaimed Blaike. Only a four year old, trainers Cohen & Jiricka agreed the grey gelding has yet to reach his full potential, and  will be a serious metropolitan competitor when racing over classic distances.

Fourth place finisher, 'Off The Rails' has since franked the form by subsequently winning 'The Canberra Prelude' one week later.
