Predicting the breeding trends before they become ‘the flavour of the day’ is the key to SLR’s high probability of success.

Foaling a Dubleo colt in 2008, it was no surprise when Dubleo sprinter ‘Silver Sands’ banked over $150,000 for his connections in the Inglis Banner (1000m) at Moonee Valley 27 October after the purchase price of only $35,000 at the 2013 Inglis Classic yearling sale.

SLR analysed trends in the sires market in 2007, and forecast a sharp escalation in the progeny’s winnining strike rate, and the ‘Lodge’s breeding analysts’ forecast has been proven by 'Silversands’, a Dubleo, whose strike rate has soared since returning to Vinery Stud.
